SG GYM - TERMS & CONDITIONS
By becoming a member and using the Gym, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions outlined below.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern membership and use of SG Gym Ltd ("the Gym"). By purchasing a membership, entering the Gym, or using any of its facilities, members agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Gym reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any material changes.
2. Membership Eligibility
2.1 Members must be aged 18 years or over unless enrolled in an approved junior membership scheme.
2.2 All members must complete the registration process and provide accurate personal information, along with a portrait selfie of themselves as a form of ID.
2.3 The Gym reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate membership at its discretion where it believes continued membership may pose a risk to safety, security, staff, members, equipment or the Gym's reputation.
3. Health Declaration
3.1 Members are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to exercise.
3.2 Members with any medical condition, injury, illness, pregnancy or concern should seek medical advice before participating in exercise.
3.3 Members exercise entirely at their own risk.
3.4 The Gym accepts no responsibility for injuries arising from improper use of equipment, failure to follow guidance, or exercising beyond personal capabilities.
4. 24-Hour Access
4.1 Members may access the Gym 24 hours per day, 7 days per week unless otherwise notified.
4.2 Access is granted solely to the registered member.
4.3 Members must use their own access credentials for every visit by either using your device with the door reader or via the ‘check in’ section on the Gymflow App.
4.4 Entry logs and CCTV recordings may be used to verify compliance with these Terms.
4.5 Access may be temporarily restricted due to maintenance, emergencies, repairs, events, or operational requirements.
5. Tailgating and Unauthorised Entry
5.1 Tailgating is strictly prohibited.
5.2 Members must not:
* Allow another person to enter using their access.
* Hold doors open for others.
* Permit entry to non-members.
* Allow former members access.
* Share access credentials.
5.3 Every individual entering the Gym must possess a valid membership or authorised access.
5.4 Any member found allowing unauthorised entry may face:
* Immediate suspension.
* Membership termination.
* A breach fee of £100.
* Liability for losses arising from unauthorised access.
5.5 Repeated breaches may result in permanent membership termination without refund.
6. Membership Access Credentials
6.1 Members must not:
* Lend access devices to others.
* Share entry codes.
* Duplicate access devices.
6.2 Lost or stolen devices must be reported immediately.
6.3 Any change in mobile device will need to be reported immediately as access will be restricted until new device is registered.
7. CCTV and Security
7.1 CCTV operates throughout the Gym and surrounding areas for safety, security and crime prevention.
7.2 CCTV footage may be reviewed in relation to:
* Security incidents.
* Theft.
* Damage.
* Membership breaches.
* Unauthorised access.
* Health and safety concerns.
7.3 Footage may be provided to law enforcement authorities where legally required.
8. Conduct and Behaviour
Members must behave respectfully towards staff, trainers, visitors and fellow members at all times.
The Gym reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate membership for unacceptable conduct.
9. Appropriate Gym Attire
9.1 Members must wear suitable gym clothing and footwear.
9.2 Dirty footwear needs to be removed and left at reception. If breached, you will receive a warning, and if repeated a cleaning fine.
9.3 Clothing deemed offensive, unsafe or inappropriate is prohibited.
10. Hygiene Standards
Members must:
* Wipe equipment after use.
* Use towels where appropriate.
* Dispose of rubbish responsibly.
* Maintain reasonable personal hygiene.
Members must not leave excessive sweat on equipment.
Repeated hygiene breaches may result in disciplinary action.
11. Equipment Use
11.1 Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose.
11.2 Members must follow all instructional signage.
11.3 Members should seek guidance if unsure how to use equipment.
11.4 Equipment must not be deliberately misused.
11.5 Members must report damaged or faulty equipment immediately.
11.6 Members may be held responsible for deliberate damage.
12. Free Weights and Equipment Etiquette
Members must:
* Re-rack all weights.
* Return equipment after use.
* Avoid excessive occupation of equipment.
* Permit others to work in where appropriate.
13. Music and Noise
13.1 Members should use headphones for personal music.
13.2 Any Gym audio equipment must be used responsibly and respectfully towards other members and staff. Inappropriate music including the use of excessive swearing or offensive language is prohibited.
13.3 Excessive noise, shouting, abusive language or disruptive behaviour is prohibited.
13.4 The Gym may remove audio equipment or restrict usage at any time.
14. Personal Training
14.1 Only authorised trainers approved by the Gym may provide personal training services within the facility.
14.2 Members may not conduct paid coaching, instruction or training without written permission.
14.3 Breaches may result in membership termination.
15. Filming, Photography and Social Media
15.1 Casual personal filming is permitted provided other members are respected and not intentionally recorded without their consent.
15.2 Commercial filming requires prior written approval.
15.3 The Gym reserves the right to request removal of content that breaches member privacy.
16. Drugs, Alcohol and Smoking
The following are strictly prohibited:
* Illegal drugs.
* Controlled substances without lawful prescription.
* Alcohol.
* Smoking.
* Vaping where prohibited.
Any breach may result in immediate membership termination.
17. Emergencies
17.1 Members must familiarise themselves with emergency exits (Main door, or fire exit to the read of the gym next to the roller door).
17.2 In an emergency, members must contact emergency services where necessary.
17.3 Members should notify the Gym of any incidents as soon as reasonably practicable.
17.4 The Gym is not staffed at all times.
18. Personal Property
18.1 Property is left at the owner's risk.
18.2 The Gym accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
18.3 Lost property may be disposed of after a reasonable period.
19. Membership Payments
19.1 Membership fees must be paid in accordance with the chosen membership plan.
19.2 Failed payments may result in suspended access.
19.3 Outstanding balances must be settled before access is restored.
19.4 Administrative fees may apply for repeated failed collections.
20. Cancellations and Refunds
20.1 The membership cancellation procedure is a 1 month notice period which can be initiated on your Gymflow App.
20.2 Membership fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
20.3 Any discretionary refunds remain at the Gym's sole discretion.
21. Suspension and Termination
The Gym may suspend or terminate membership immediately where a member:
* Breaches these Terms.
* Allows unauthorised access.
* Shares credentials.
* Damages equipment.
* Behaves inappropriately.
* Endangers others.
* Commits criminal activity.
Termination may occur without refund where serious breaches occur.
22. Liability
22.1 Members acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risks.
22.2 The Gym shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage except where caused by negligence that cannot legally be excluded.
22.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
23. Data Protection
23.1 Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
23.2 Access records, CCTV recordings and membership information may be retained for operational, security and legal purposes.
23.3 Members should refer to the Gym's Privacy Policy for further information.
24. Parking and External Areas
24.1 Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.
24.2 Members must comply with any parking restrictions.
24.3 The Gym accepts no liability for theft or damage to vehicles.
25. Force Majeure
The Gym shall not be liable for interruptions caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
* Power failures.
* Flooding.
* Fire.
* Government restrictions.
* Severe weather.
* Pandemics.

Utility failures.
26. SG Shop (Self-Service Shop)
26.1 The SG Shop operates on a self-service and honesty basis for the convenience of members.
26.2 Members are responsible for correctly recording and paying for all items taken from the SG Shop.
26.3 The Gym reserves the right to monitor the SG Shop using CCTV and other security measures.
26.4 Any item removed from the SG Shop without payment may be treated as theft.
26.5 Where CCTV or other evidence demonstrates that a member has taken products without payment, the Gym reserves the right to:

Charge the member for the unpaid items.

Apply a reasonable administration fee.

Suspend or terminate membership.

Recover any losses incurred.
26.6 By accepting these Terms and Conditions, members expressly authorise the Gym to recover the cost of unpaid purchases and associated administration charges using the payment method held on file.
26.7 Repeated breaches may result in permanent termination of membership without refund.
27. Pairs Memberships
27.1 SG Gym offers a Pairs Membership designed for family members or individuals living within the same household.
27.2 To be eligible for a Pairs Membership, both members must:

Permanently reside at the same home address.

Use the same bank account for membership payments.

Maintain accurate personal details on their membership profiles.
27.3 SG Gym reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of eligibility, including proof of address and/or verification of payment details.
27.4 If it is determined that members do not meet the eligibility requirements of a Pairs Membership, SG Gym reserves the right to:

Transfer the membership(s) to the appropriate individual membership type.

Recover any difference in membership fees that would have been payable.

Suspend or terminate the membership where false information has been provided.
27.5 Each member within a Pairs Membership remains individually responsible for complying with all Gym Terms & Conditions, Waivers, Rules, and Safety Requirements.
27.6 A Pairs Membership does not permit members to share access credentials, check in on behalf of one another, or gain entry to the Gym using another member's account or device.
27.7 Both members must individually enter the Gym using their own registered device and must comply with all access, check-in, safety, and security procedures at all times.
Acceptance Of Terms & Conditions
By becoming a member and using the Gym, members confirm that they have read, understood and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, and will treated as legally binding agreement between SG Gym and the member.
